Valheim – RoadTrip to Helheim is a fictional DLC designed for the game Valheim, a third-person survival and exploration game. This additional content introduces a brand-new biome: Helheim, the realm of the dead. Players will discover new enemies, a new crafting system, and a completely redesigned progression arc.

This project aimed to demonstrate our ability to enrich an existing universe without altering its essence, by combining storytelling, level design, systems, and game balance.
As part of the game design, one of my main tasks was to thoroughly analyze the Valheim game, cataloging existing weapons with their attributes and damage output, as well as the monsters from the main game, noting their stats (health, damage, immunities, etc.).
Using this database, I designed new enemies specific to the Helheim biome, incorporating unique combat mechanics and characteristics. These creatures were designed to provide key resources for player survival and progression in this new content.
I also contributed to writing the DLC design document, which structured all the weapons, resources, and monsters created for this biome, ensuring consistency with the Valheim universe and the foundations of Norse mythology.
