An incredibly enriching experience and the project that i am most proud so far

Pitch

Jumpyre is a mobile dungeon endless-runner game where the player embodies a vampire who, after some failed experiments, is trying to escape from their manor. Pursued by the Sun and hunted by every creature in the world—living and dead—the player must progress as far as possible.

This two-month project aimed to create a hyper-casual game with a small team, working closely with 3D artists.

Responsabilities

Game Design

  • Writing the Game Design Document, including game mechanics, progression, the game economy, and systems related to the shop and unlockable items.

  • Designing the core loop and elements of increasing difficulty to maintain player interest in an endless runner context.

Programming

  • Implementation of the data backup system (shop, progress, scores).
  • Integration and management of shop assets (skins, items, interface).
  • Collaboration with artists to ensure the proper integration of visual elements and animations.
